  • +Can switch 1-4 with ease.
  • +High defensive motor.
  • +Runs the floor hard in transition, both offensively and defensively.
  • +Solid court awareness.
  • +Moves feet well laterally; is able to stay in front of offensive opponent relatively easily.

Cons

  • −Inconsistent player.
  • −Needs to vastly improve his shooting splits; not efficient.
  • −Liability from the free throw line.
  • −Needs to add weight and muscle to guard NBA level talent effectively.
  • −Hasn't showcased any dribble pull-up game.
  • −Only has shown stationary catch and shoot jumpers. Needs to improve movement shooting (off of off-ball screens, curls, etc.) to free up the floor for himself and his team.
  • −Stands still too much on offense.
  • −Needs to be stronger with the ball; become a better ball handler.
  • −Passes are predictable and sometimes slow.
  • −Would like to see him crash the glass more often.

Overall

Despite his age, I think he is a sure fire 1st round pick in the 2027 NBA draft, with the potential of jumping into the lottery if he improves his shooting splits this season. I think he can be effective in the NBA if utilized properly, as I see him having an impact similar to PJ Tucker or Matisse Thybulle. He hasn't lived up to the initial hype/expectations since coming from Barcelona, due to the deep talent on Duke's roster, but he is an overall intriguing prospect due to his switchability on defense, and potential as a two-way player.
